Axel Gear Question
« on: October 20, 2019, 08:42:43 PM »

Ok. another effort to get moving on my CJ8 project. The goal is to put a LS with 4l60e in into it I want to get a set of axels so I can make a roller. Everyone says get the Dana 44 from Rubicon. I found a jk pair on FB Market place with 3.73. AS I keep learning I have to consider the engine, Transmission, Transfer Case, and Axels to make everything work out where I need it. My goal is to match RPMS and speeds of the donor. I started filling int the site below but do not know what I'm doing. I'm looking for some help on what I need to answer so I can get something finally.

What are you building the jeep to do?

4l60e, np261(?), 3.73 gears and then put in your tire size, numbers should appear.
